I go here for breakfast. It has a family atmosphere, and friendly staff. Meals cooked just like I ordered. Could have used a couple more refills on my coffee. But overall I would highly recommend you try it.

Just ordered the beef slouvlaki salad... killer job Vinnie... now I won’t go into the city for one anymore. Beef was tender, pita was just right and the rest just fell in place. Thanks for the cold one... hit the spot.

Great food and service! Live locally and it was my first time here. I've definitely been missing out. This will be on my list of local favorites. FYI only open breakfast and lunch most days.

We had a large party and came in with out reservations. They were happy and willing to make space for us and the fish fry was excellent. Great service and great food. I definitely recommend Cala's Kitchen.

Vinnie is absolutely rude and disrespectful! I've been going to calas for 20 yrs. Never had an issue until this past Friday!! Ordered some horseradish (a case). Vinny said he forgot to order for himself, so I only get 4 out of 6. Ok I can deal with it. He gave me the price. Handed my debit card and he flipped out. Its cash he said its cash. I said are you really mad? He said yeah. I said calm down and it kept going. I told him I will go elsewhere. Vince was 30 for 1 gallon. I got it at the meat market in Lakeview for 16. Lost my business. Perhaps you need an audit if your demanding cash. Absolutely disrespectful.

Homemade food, good size portions for few bucks...appears to be where the locals eat...never had fried bologna and onion before...greasy, salty delicious. White bean and ham soup full of fresh veggies. ..breakfast was hearty....good stop!

I'm really a beer batter kinda person. But I can honestly say that the breaded fish fry I had this past Friday was excellent!

Good comfort food and quick menu items. Nicole is a great waitress with lots of personality. Vinny, the owner when in the RESTARAUNT usually walks around greeting and chatting up the customers. Prices are reasonable and not out of line for anything. Large front windows allow for plenty of natural light.

We had them cater for my daughter's graduation party. The food was excellent and at a reasonable price. The food arrived on time and they set everything up beautifully. Would highly recommend them!

Food was mediocre at best, undercooked home fries, awful business model 1/10. Handwritten special menu, $3 grape juice that was maybe 8 ounces with no refill pic is attached. Would highly recommend the McDonald's next door over this run down establishment. Save your money.

We were very disappointed with our dinner tonight. My husband and I had the fish fry dinner. The piece of fish,for both us,was on the small side. Barely even warm. The coleslaw tasted old. You could tell who were the regulars were by the attention they got from the waitress. I have no idea what her name was,as she had no name tag on and didn’t bother to introduce herself. Never asked if we needed refills on our drinks or if we needed anything. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

I love that they allowed us to come in for lunch with our granddaughter even though they were closing. They stayed open for a couple more people because they were still serving other people. It helps that we know they have great food and service. Don't forget to say hi to Bob(one of the cooks you cant miss him he's the tall one) 😊

Always Great for breakfast. Usually no wait time. Lunches are good too. They have a side room for large groups which is semi private. They also serve alcoholic beverages.

Best sit down table service and food

We used Cala’s On a recommendation from a friend for our sons graduation party, and we are SO glad we did. We used the “no muss no fuss” package for 70 people and we actually had more than that show, and STILL had a ton of leftovers! The chicken was juicy and hot, Italian sausages with peppers and onions where a huge hit! Our town has used a local guy for many years, but I can guarantee that’s going to change! Had 3 different people say they wish they could cancel their caterer and use these guys for their grad party ( you should advertise a little more in the Hamburg, Eden, North Collins area, you have a great business!)Professional, friendly and DEFINITELY accommodating! Vinny was who we dealt with, and will definitely use them again for catering, and will definitely be going to their restaurant.Great place to deal with and made our lives easier planning this ordeal, a big “Thank you” to them and the delivery guys.. professionally dressed when they showed up and a fun group!
